Lunch time!

Lunch was some leftover stuff. I had a half of an ear of corn leftover that I added to my chili. It was yummy.

Lunch:
Chili with corn (5 pts?)
1 oz baked tortilla chips (2 pts)
Spinach salad with fat free raspberry pecan dressing (1 pt)
Splenda sweet tea (0 pt)

Get the Door

Get the door, it's Dominoes. We usually pick up Hungry Howie's pizza for our Friday night game/movie night but with the sickies here I just called and had Dominoes deliver. Did you know that you can go online and order your pizza to your liking. I got 3 medium pizzas. One with pepperoni and only half of it cheese for Liz. One with extra cheese and only cheese. Then one for me, less cheese and extra olives. I got them all with thin crust. They were really yummy.

I went for seconds. The cheese pizza on my plate belong to Caroline, honest!

After the girls went to bed I sat down to blog, watch tv and eat popcorn! It is light.

Wow, blogging took a long time tonight. It took forever for the pics to load. Ugh!

Breakfast of protein

Good morning protein!
I looked in the pantry and noticed I had some instant grits that I really needed to get rid of. I made a breakfast bowl and had my typical 2 cups of coffee.

Breakfast:
Quaker instant cheese grits 2 pts
1 hard boiled egg
1 slice of bacon

Pork and Peas

My day of food started with a simple bowl of Quaker Weight Control oatmeal with half (about a 2x3) piece of banana bread crumbled on top. I enjoyed 2 cups of coffee also.

We just stayed here because of some sickies in the house. Caroline has an ear infection or something that is making her sleeping all wonky. Becca has been waking up with some congestion and a cough.

Anyway, back to food. We couldn't go a New Year's day without pork. Christopher picked up a pound of pork from Jim N Nicks bbq. I cooked black eyed peas and also made yummy Cowboy Cavier or black eyed pea salsa. I tweaked it a little from the recipe I had gotten but it turned out great. If I figured it correctly it was about 1 point for a cup! Yum! I enjoyed it with some baked tortilla chips.

1/2 cup of black eyed pea salsa
1 oz of baked tortilla chips

1/2 cup of black eyed peas
2 oz of bbq pork
Spinach salad (this counts as greens, right?) with 5 croutons crumbled on top and 1 Tbsp of Caesar dressing

Supper I had 1 oz of baked tortillas
1/2 cup of black eyed pea salsa
3 oz bbq pork

I met my LTG at Starbucks and enjoyed a Grande nonfat Mocha Latte and a vanilla almond biscotti. No pictures, I left my camera at home.

Until tomorrow. Goodnight!
